Aloha! We welcome you to our 26th Annual Tinman Triathlon - an 800 meter swim - 40k bike - 10k run.
We take pride in nurturing and presenting Honolulu's longest running triathlon. The race starts at 5:45 am July 23, 2006 at Queen's Beach across from Kapiolani Park.

$80 till May 23 / $100 till June 13/$115 till July 12 - TEAMS: $100

Age Requirement: |
Participants must be 15 years of age or older on July 23, 2006. |
Optional Tinman Finisher Crewneck T-shirt: |
If
desired, add cost of $15 to entry fee. Finisher T-shirts can be picked
up right after your completion of the 26th Tinman Triathlon at
Kapiolani Park. |
Aid Station: |
Official aid stations will be provided on the course. Individual support teams will not be allowed. |
Awards: |
Each
finisher will receive a commemorative award on race day. All awards
will be presented on race day at a ceremony at approximately 11:00 a.m.
at Kapiolani Park Pavillion. Age group division awards will go to the
top three male and female finishers. Top three male and female
finishers of each Team division will receive awards. |
Divisions: |
To
qualify to compete in the Elite Division, the athlete must submit
official documentation that he/she will be able to complete the entire
race within 2 hours for men and 2 hours and 20 minutes for women. Race
officials will have final decision in selecting Elite Division
participants.
The top five (5) finishers of Elite men & Elite women will
receive overall awards. All other finishers will go into age group
divisions. |
Timing: |
Participating athlete will be assigned a computer timing chip which will eventually give each athlete 6 split times:
swim/transition to bike segment/bike/ transition to run segment/ run/ final total time. |

OCEAN SWIM � 800 Meters
start and finish at Queen�s Beach in Waikiki.
BIKE COURSE � 40 Kilometers
Bike course start from the transition area in Kapiolani Park head out to Hawaii Kai and back.
RUN COURSE � 10 Kilometers
start at Run Exit west/ocean end of transition area and run around Diamond Head and return to transition area and Finish Line. |
Divisions: Elite / Age Group / Team / Wheelchair
Elite: Athlete must submit official documentation that he/she
will be able to complete the entire race within 2 hours formen and 2
hours and 20 minutes for women.
Team Divisions: Male, Female, Co-Ed
Sub-division: Wheelchair Athletes should check with race officials to coordinate support and safety issues

The 26th Tinman Triathlon will be held July 23rd, 2006 at 5:45 am in the morning at Queen's Beach at the Waikiki end of Kapiolani Park. The triathlon is a 800 meter swim followed by a 40 kilometer bike and a 10 kilometer run around Diamond Head. There is a NEW Team division: male, female and co-ed. Visit picturemanofhawaii.com click on Sports, Online Ordering, use tinman as the password and scroll through 700 or so photographs of the 2005 Tinman Triathlon. Picturman Of Hawaii will also mail each competitor their Roll # to make finding their photo easier. Call 808-695-8101 to order by phone.
