We must regrettably notify you that the 36th Annual Tinman Triathon

will have to be cancelled. As you know, tropical storm Darby may have a

major impact in our Hawaiian Islands. The high wind and rain affect all

the segments of the triathlon especially the cycling portion.

We are committed to the safety of the participants, as well as the

volunteers and the community. We apologized for any inconvenience

especially for competitors coming to Oahu from the neighbor island, the

mainland and other countries. However, we hope that you will

understand the circumstances.

Even though we have cancelled the July 24th event, we are presently

working on rescheduling it as soon as possible. We will alert you once

we get permission for all the permits from all the pertinent departments

from State of Hawaii and City and County of Honolulu.
